Our Church was opened on
6th November 2005 by the Mayor of Wirral:
Councellor Mrs Chris Meaden
Below are a selection of photographs from the day

The Church was full on the afternoon with Members and VIP Guests from each of the other Wirral Spiritualist Churches.
As the Mayor arrived she was present with a bouquet of flowers by Mr Michael Williams, one of our youngest Church Members and given a certificate of appreciation from the Church to thank her for giving up a Sunday afternoon to open our new premises.

Counsellor Meaden unveiled two plaques:

one to commemorate the original

"Mother Church"

and the other to celebrate the official opening of

The IPSC at 149 Laird Street

As well as officially opening the Church, the Mayor made presentations to those who had completed the first meditation, healing and development classes, and to representatives of organisations who had supported the original
"Peoples Spiritualist Church"
since it's inception in January 2000 - including:
Tranmere Alliance, S Hall Motors of Birkenhead
and T C Construction

The ceremony was followed by a buffet and later that evening with a Church Service
